Get Rice Ready

We need to get ready to counter the Obama/Hillary ticket that's headed our way in a few days when Biden gets "Torched".

When the Democratic National Committee finally realizes that Sarah Palin is made out of impenetrable Teflon, that Joe Biden will absolutely NOT submit to a sex change operation, and that the polls are for real, Biden will get Torricellied.

Like Robert "The Torch" Torricelli, Biden will be "asked" by William "The Godfather" Jefferson Clinton to step aside for a candidate who sports the right kind of gender equipment (or at least appears more like a woman than Joe Biden). And as with Torricelli, it will not matter if changing the ticket grossly violates election rules since most of the fulltime government employees who run the logistics of elections are card-carrying Democrats and will pencil-whip through whatever the DNC wants.

Biden will suddenly find out that he has cancer, heart trouble, family problems or some other concocted impediment that he (or his survivors) will say prevents him from continuing on the ticket. If necessary, the DNC will send in the Vince Foster squad and he'll end up slumped over a steering wheel in a D.C. area park. It will not be right, fair or legal. But neither was replacing Torricelli with Frank Lautenberg.

The only ticket that will counter Obama/Hillary is a Palin/Rice ticket. That's Palin for President, Condoleezza Rice for Vice President. Sorry McCain, you're a dud -- and you've always been a dud. There is only one way to make a Palin/McCain ticket work against an Obama/Hillary ballot: Sarah Palin for President, Cindy McCain for Vice President (assuming she's conservative enough). Cindy is sharp, informed, witty and a great speaker.  If Cindy is a sufficient conservative, she'd lock up the votes her husband needs but could never get without a Palin or equivalent sidekick.

Of course, John McCain will never step aside which means you should enjoy the few days left of the Palin-induced lead that we have left before Biden's heart attack/stroke/cancer announcement puts Hillary on the ticket.

It's September 9, 2008 today. It will be interesting to see how long it takes before Hillary makes it back onto the ballot.
